Lost and found pets

If you have lost your pet, come to the Humane Society as often as possible, but not less than every 2-3 days. Look for your pet in all visible kennels. There are fees for claiming your lost pet, and proof of ownership is required.
Proof of ownership can be:

Rabies, license or ID tags on the animal,
Photos of the animal,
Microchips and vet records, or
Matching where the animal was found and where it ran away from.

If you don’t find your pet in a kennel, go to the Lost and Found area in the lobby. Check all Found reports as well as a listing of animals “not in public view”.
